The Spreading Joy initiatives are spearheaded by Jihi, a line of elevated skin and body care products that help restore vibrancy from the inside out. Launching into a pandemic, we felt deeply moved by the stories of wellness-seekers across the country who were fighting to keep their spirits alive in the midst of such unprecedented times.

The word Jihi is Japanese for “compassion,” JI means to spread joy, and HI means to ease pain. It is our goal to bring this concept of Jihi compassion to life by partnering with other wellness-minded organizations who want to show up for their communities during these challenging times.

Our goal is to advocate for mental health, combating the cover up and burnout mentality of the beauty world with the respite, honoring and restoration of true luxury self-care.

Our first initiative is to donate wellness care packages to nurses across the country who have been battling extreme circumstances to keep our families safe over this last year. It is our goal to say “thank you” to these front line workers, helping refill their cups and spirits after an extraordinarily challenging year.

In addition to gifting care packages, we will be highlighting nurse’s individual stories across our website, press releases and social media, asking about their experiences throughout the last year, as well as their recommendations for taking care of our communities and individual mental health as we ease back into “normal” life.

This fall, we’ll be continuing our mission with an event for the eating disorder community in the Colorado mountains, inspiring individuals from all walks of life with stories, tools and an immersive experience that reminds them that healing and wellness is possible.

We will be spotlighting our partners in a large press outreach, including editorial coverage by our partners at Organic Spa Media. Additionally, partners will be featured across our website and marketing initiatives as we say thank you to those who join us in this mission.

We know that the spa and luxury wellness community has been greatly impacted by the events of the last year. It is our goal that this program will provide benefits not only for the recipients of these packages, but also for our wellness partners who we know are working to highlight their business and bring new energy to their offerings. For the price of some donated products, we hope to provide inclusion in a vibrant community, press and media coverage, and marketing opportunities to illuminate your commitment to the health and wellness of your community.

Thank you for your consideration. If you’re interested in learning more about this program, I’d love to hear from you. There are many creative ways to be involved with no donation minimums, and we hope you say yes to the opportunity!

In gratitude,

Jennifer Beck
